Dear Hallie Two weeks from now, I hope that you'll be joining me and the rest of the type 1 community for our first ever Type 1 Talk live broadcast on World Diabetes Day. We've got a great line up of topics (thanks to everyone who voted!) and we'll be announcing presenters this week.   Whether you've made your plans for WDD or not, please take a moment to hear from two JDRF supporters about why they wanted to get involved with Type 1 Talk.   Check out a video from Crystal Bowersox, American Idol finalist, on why Type 1 Talk is so important to her.  After watching her video, click here to read why Hallie Addington, Ohio JDRF volunteer, got involved with Type 1 Talk.  It's not too late to join in on Type 1 Talk!  Remember, I'll be holding a Q&A session via our JDRF UStream channel (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/jdrf-advocacy) this Thursday, 11/4 at 7pm EDT and again on Sunday, 11/7 at 3pm EDT.  This is a great opportunity to ask your questions and see how the UStream broadcast will work on 11/14.  Of course, you can always send your questions or concerns to me via email at advocacy@jdrf.org as well.
