Today you won't find me blogging HERE.
Nope.
If you want to read a little post I wrote about taking diabetes to school, you will have to head on over to Diabetes Mine and check it out!
A BIG THANKS to Amy and Allison for asking to me guest post and allowing me a visit on their wonderful site!
See you tomorrow!
Great information you shared over there!
ReplyDeleteHallie, I did the same thing for Kate after her dx...one more thing for you to think about...in Kate's school, the kids switch classes for music, art, computers, spanish, PE, and science so I created the High/Low chart for each classroom and had them laminated and included Kate's picture on the sheet. This year we have two Type 1's, so the other mom and I are creating emergency boxes with glucose tabs for lows and water bottles with flavor packets for highs to keep in each special area classroom. There were times last year when Kate used up the juice box in her bag and they were scrambling! I'm also going to ask that a laminated carb chart be kept in the cafeteria for quick reference for both girls (they will be in 6th and 4th grades this year).
